St. Vincent de Paul Society
This parish organization takes its name from St. Vincent De Paul, a French priest who in the 16th century spent his life taking care of the poor and needy.
Our parish group works together with neighboring groups as well as with the Diocese. Whenever there is a request for food, financial aid, or household furnishings the men and women of this organization spring into action by first assessing the need and then taking care of it. Their charitable works are never published in order to maintain the dignity of the recipients.
The organization receives the necessary funds for their work through the generosity of parishioners in monthly and annual collections. Collection boxes for clothing donations can be found in the parking lot at the rear of our school near the gym.
This small group is always looking for more volunteers to work with them. If you would like to aid them in their most Christ-like ministry or would like to contribute to their support, please contact our parish St. Vincent De Paul representative.
